Jagadguru Sri Niranjananandpuri Mahaswamiji was born on 10 April 1977 as the fourth child of Sri Gurusiddaiah Wodeyar and Smt. Rudrayanamma of Hartikoti Village Hiriyur Taluk, Chitradurga District. He completed his primary education in Hartikote. On January 4, 1992, Niranjanandapuri Mahaswamiji was gifted to Birendra Keshav Tarakanandapuri Mahaswamiji for serving the pastoral society. Later, he was sent to Sri Tiruchchi Maha Swamiji at Kailasa Ashram in Bangalore for his high school and spiritual education.He was proficient in Kannada, Sanskrit ,Hindi,Tamil, Telugu, Nepali and English languages. After completing his education, Swamiji came to Kaginele after 2002 and took charge of Belgaum Division. Sri Niranjanadapuri Maha Swamiji was selected as the second Jagadguru of Kanaka Guru Peeth after the death of the first Jagadguru Sri Birendra Kesava Swamiji in 2006. Swamiji continues to serve the society day and night as a tireless Kayakayogi. He has opened many educational institutions and religious centers in Kaginele, Belludi, Mailara, Hirekerur, Shikaripura, Bangalore.
